I love Dusty’s Trail! Where I used to live they showed it more times than Gilligan’s Island so I knew it a lot better and when i finally saw Gilligan I was like “this is just Dusty’s? Trail, only they’re stranded on an island.” Bob Denver- too cute.
This is so cool! I remember this short lived syndicated sitcom quite well from the late 70′s. It was a Westernized version of “Gilligan’s Island”. Which is no surprise since it was created by the same write/producer (Sherwood Schwartz) who created “Gilligan’s Island”. A local station showed it on late Saturday afternoons, right before another syndicated sitcom, “Ozzie’s Girls”, which starred? Ozzie & Harriet Nelson….they rented out their spare bedrooms to two young cute college gals. Fun!
I remember watching part of the episode in which the two women were kidnapped by the outlaws. That was the only thing that really held my? interest in this show.
