Description

Multiple award winning animation made in 1961-64 by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. It was made in the period of the golden age of chinese animation. Very beautifully illustrated, it is based on the classic literature ‘Xi You Ji’ (Journey to the West) where the mischievous Sun Wu Kong (the Monkey King) wreaked massive damage in the Heavenly Courts.
